OVERVIEW
The Biomedical Interactive Technology Center (BITC) is an applied research center at the Georgia Institute of Technology. BITC is also an Operating Research Center within the Georgia Centers for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) and maintains close research collaborations with Emory University and the Medical College of Georgia. BITC's focus is on interactive communication and computer applications in medicine. Research programs include telemedicine, medical visualization and simulation, wireless applications for rehabilitation, and advanced medical devices.
